For electricians, plumbers, and HVAC

Catch the 9pm call before it goes to the next shop.

An after-hours phone assistant that answers when you're closed or on a job, puts real emergencies through to you, and turns everything else into a job waiting for the morning.

It answers as a sample heating, plumbing, and electrical shop. Try “my water heater is leaking” or “half my house lost power.”

Text to you · 9:14 PM

EMERGENCY · Burst pipe

Dana R · (217) 555-0187

2210 Western Ave

Pipe split under the kitchen sink. Main water shut off. Water on the floor, none near outlets. Told them you'd call within 30 min.

ESTIMATE · Morning follow-up

Wants a quote to replace a 100-amp panel with 200-amp. Older house, adding an EV charger. Free weekday mornings.

The calls you miss on a job or after hours

Emergencies, sorted from the rest

A burst pipe, no heat in January, or a whole house without power goes straight to you (or whoever's on call) by phone, after the caller agrees to your after-hours fee. A dripping faucet waits for the morning.

Safety first

Gas smell, smoke, or sparking wires? It tells the caller to get out and call 911, gives safe shutoff steps, then alerts you.

Estimate requests

“Can someone quote a panel upgrade?” Gets the address, what they want done, and good times to come out, so you call back ready.

Online service requests

A simple web form for your site or Google listing, logged in the same place as calls and linked to the customer and address.

Repeat customers recognized

Knows the number on file, confirms the address, and can tell a caller where their open job stands.

How it works

  1. 1

    Forward your calls

Keep your number. After hours (or when you're on a job and can't pick up), calls forward to your assistant.

  2. 2

    Every caller gets an answer

It says it's an automated assistant, gets the name, address, and problem, and tells them when they'll hear back.

  3. 3

You get a text and a job list

Emergencies reach you (or whoever's on call) right away. Everything else is waiting in your dashboard as a job.

A look inside

Every call lands in one place, with what happened and what's next. Shown with made-up sample data.

The Home page: today's briefing with links, and the open jobs list.

Start the day knowing what's urgent

Today's briefing picks out the few things that need you first and links straight to each one. Below it: open jobs, callbacks due, visits, and money owed.

A call page: a no-heat emergency with its summary, transcript, and a live transfer marked connected.

Every after-hours call, sorted

A short summary and the full transcript. Here the caller heard your after-hours fee and was put straight through to the owner.

The Schedule: a week of visits and callbacks, with filters for each technician.

Your week at a glance

Visits and callbacks by day, for everyone or one tech. Repeating visits like furnace tune-ups go on the schedule by themselves.

An invoice for a service call, with buttons to text the link to the customer.

Bill from the job

Estimates and invoices start from the job. Text the customer a link; they can approve an estimate or pay online by card or bank transfer.

A customer's phone showing their balance, upcoming visits, and service requests.

Customers get their own page

Their balance, invoices, upcoming visits, and a button to request service. No login to remember.

A technician's phone showing an urgent water heater visit with the address and office notes.

Techs get a link, not an app

The address, contact, notes from the office, and photos, with buttons to start and finish the job.

Ask for a demo

Tell me a little about your shop and I'll walk you through how it would handle your calls. I'm local and set everything up for you: what counts as an emergency, your on-call number, your service-call fee.

  • ✓ No new phone number
  • ✓ No software to learn; you just get texts
  • ✓ Set up for you by someone local

Questions

Will customers know it's not a person?

Yes. It says up front that it's an automated assistant. Callers mostly care that someone answered and that you'll call back.

Will it quote prices?

No. It never prices work or promises an arrival time. If you have a set service-call fee, it can tell callers that; everything else is up to you.

Do I need a new phone number?

No. You forward your existing line after hours or when it rings unanswered.

What about expenses and taxes?

Log materials, fuel, and subcontractors as you go. At tax time you get a Schedule C worksheet and a 1099 list for your preparer.
